This property was being listed for sale, and the client hired us to repair a tub faucet and some chipped tile. Upon inspection, we discovered significant water damage behind the walls. The client decided it was best to gut the area and start over. We salvaged the tub, repaired the framing, installed new backer-board, applied waterproofing, and replaced the tile and fixtures. Though it was an unexpected expense, this necessary and honest renovation ensured the home was in excellent condition for prospective buyers.
